Yeah I got a google wave invite *swoon*
now its a bit too early to tell how practical it is... I might have some doubts if everyone is working on something at the same time..imagine a ten people editing the same document. Everyone has their own spin and thought and ideas about it. Suffice to say it 'might' get messy.

I don't think the quote "If you have enough monkeys banging randomly on typewriters, they will eventually type the works of William Shakespeare," holds true in this context. Not only will you have messy half monkey half typewriter hybrid babies...but without a clear direction or a hierarchy system, its going to be a little bit difficult. Well, thats my thoughts anyway; and I am prepared to eat my words when I can test this theory out.

but for now....i'm just going to gloat about me being in the top 5 on artwiculate =)

I iz artwiculate...

11:44 AM
Been tweeting the word of the day on artwiculate almost everyday now.. so by laws of statistics and chances.. I have reached the top 20 for using the word bravado. (must have been a slow day in twitterland)

Been trying to put the badge up on the sidebar but........its not working so yeah.

I won artwiculate and all I got was this lousy badge, internet fame and a lovely certificate.

There we go (not).

Argentinian kids are hardcore. Drink Grog.

3:18 PM
I procrastinated and now it is a little late to do a review of Monkey Island SE.
To sum it up execution was beautiful and it was a good move on LucasArts part to include the old graphics for the fans who just want to get back to a simpler time...

I've included comparison shots below.. but for now I'll leave you with an argentinian news channel that got pranked by some group of people who 'tipped' them off about this drink the kids are making....affectionately called... Grog.

I myself only drink near-grog. Same tummy turning taste but without the alcohol.

Here are some comparison shots of the old and new modes which you can switch by pressing f11.

New? Theory on why we Cry..

5:35 AM
I have no faith in some scientists... there is "new" theories on why we cry. Scientists have suggested that crying was to get rid of chemicals, but now have come up with the theory that crying is a social thing.

Is that so Mr.egghead? Really?

I would have thought this was quite apparent. Babies cry to get attention, kids cry when they are hurt so parents can take the necessary actions. In my case I get an overwhelming sense of empathy if I see a girl cry.

Its 5am so it could be just me being bitter but isn't this very the obvious?

Oh look.. it also works intra-species too. When another species exhibit a crying like behaviour we as humans naturally lower our defenses aswell; even if the animals are 'crying' for a more functional reason.

For example the turtles cry when laying eggs and then leave into the ocean. Seemingly mourning for some of the baby turtles when they hatch because they will inevitably die due to predators and what not. I had to describe this because I can't find the video..

I think I'll just leave it at that.

Please spare a thought for the lemon.

11:06 AM
Sometimes fate, life, destiny or whatever you want to call it gets so shitty that it takes down a few good souls with it. I do not mean in death as death is a whole different ballpark and lets not get into it right now.

So please look out for the lemon who falls on the grass from the lemon tree.. unique and sour.
